The SPORT R coilover kit by Cusco Japan is engineered for dedicated track cars involved in full-scale racing and time attack competitions. These coilovers are optimized for track compound tires and feature a monotube construction allowing for a larger diameter piston, increased rigidity, and superior damper control. They offer a 24-step adjustment range using patented Cusco needle-valves for precise tuning. The full-length adjustment design ensures maximum height adjustability without affecting spring preload, maintaining an ideal stroke/spring relationship. The 'Blue Spring' used in these coilovers is shot-peened and wound with advanced anti-sagging metallurgy. They also include precision-crafted upper mounts with standard camber adjustments, and inverted piston design for McPherson strut applications for enhanced durability and performance. Additional camber can be achieved through lower bracket camber adjustment.
