Each stud undergoes a precise heat-treatment process to 200,000 psi, ensuring complete and uniform heat penetration for consistent material properties. Unlike lesser quality studs, ARP's process involves centerless grinding to achieve near-perfect concentricity, resulting in exceptionally straight components that facilitate precise alignment of gaskets and cylinder heads during installation. ARP's manufacturing process distinguishes itself by thread rolling the studs after heat-treatment.
