The Brian Tooley Racing BTR GEN V DOD/AFM Conversion Kit provides a comprehensive solution for removing the factory Displacement On Demand (DOD) or Active Fuel Management (AFM) system from your Gen V GM LT engine. The kit can include a variety of essential components for the conversion, such as valley covers or conversion plugs, head bolts or studs, head gaskets, header gaskets, lifters, lifter trays, valve cover gaskets, spark plug wires, a DOD/Start-Stop disabler module, cam retainer plates and bolts, intake gaskets, fuel pump gaskets, and balancer bolts. A tuning device with included tuning is also a key part of the system, crucial for proper operation after the conversion. It is important to note that a non-DOD camshaft is required for this lifter replacement. Some later platforms may necessitate an additional unlock cable, credits, or an ECM ship-in unlock. The included tuning device comes with a unique QR code and web address for registration, purchasing additional services, and obtaining necessary unlocking cables or rentals.
