The VIS Racing Custom Carbon Fiber Front Lip is a body panel designed to enhance the aesthetic and aerodynamic profile of the 2002-2007 Lotus Elise S2. Crafted from premium, 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber material, this front lip boasts a tight weave and is meticulously finished with an ultra-clear, Poly Shield UV-protective polyurethane coating, ensuring a lasting high-gloss appearance. The construction involves a two-part design, where the top layer of carbon fiber is bonded with high-grade epoxy resin. This is fused to a one-piece, smooth underside shell, which significantly enhances the product's structural integrity. The edges are hand-smoothed to guarantee a superior finish all around. VIS Racing is also transitioning its carbon parts to a Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) for reduced weight and improved durability. Professional installation is recommended for this component. Additionally, hood pins are required for installation, and this product is intended for off-road use only. This front lip is explicitly designed for the 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007 Lotus Elise S2 models. Note that the 'Details' section also lists compatibility with the Lotus Exige for the same model years, though the primary product title and description focus on the Elise.
