Custom Coilovers

The CEIKA Custom Coilovers are a fully customizable and adjustable suspension upgrade specifically designed for the Mercedes Benz SL Class R129 (89-01). These coilovers are built to order, ensuring they meet your unique requirements for handling and ride quality, whether for street use or professional racing. Each kit features oil and gas monotube shocks with adjustable damping, allowing for fine-tuning of compression and rebound. The standard spring rates are 15 kg/mm front and 18 kg/mm rear, but these can be adjusted to be softer or firmer based on your preferences and driving style. The coilovers offer a ride height adjustment range of approximately 10 to 12cm, with fully threaded shocks allowing independent adjustment of height from spring preload. The front coilovers consist of separated shocks and springs, while the rear also features separated shocks and springs. Please note that front and rear helper/dual springs are not available for the SL Class R129. It is strongly advised that installation be carried out by a professional, ensuring all chassis suspension, steering components, and subframe mounts are in good working condition, as stiffer suspensions can make existing wear more noticeable. CEIKA offers a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects and guarantees a direct bolt-on installation, providing revised or replacement parts free of charge if anything does not fit or perform as expected. Optional features include pillowball mounts, camber plates (depending on design and car model), and remote damping adjuster cables.
