The 3SX Custom Lightweight Aluminum Crank Pulley is engineered as a direct replacement for your stock crank pulley on 3000GT and Stealth models. Crafted from CNC 6061 machined billet aluminum, this pulley significantly reduces rotational mass. Weighing in at just 1.7 pounds compared to the stock steel pulley's 6.7 pounds, it allows your engine to rev more freely, translating to noticeable horsepower gains. Unlike underdrive pulleys, this 3SX offering maintains the stock pulley size. This crucial design feature ensures that your vehicle's accessories, such as the alternator, AC compressor, and power steering pump, continue to operate at their intended speeds. This is particularly beneficial for vehicles with demanding electrical systems or extensive stereo setups, as it prevents a reduction in charging system output. The pulley is available for ALL years and models of the 3000GT and Stealth, spanning from 1991 to 1999, including SOHC, DOHC, and Twin-Turbo (TT) variants. Specific fitments are available to accommodate the different belt configurations used across these model years, including the 1991 DOHC V-belt for the power steering pump and the 1992-1999 DOHC 4-rib serpentine belt.
