The Koni Special D (Red) Shock absorber, part of the CLASSIC 80 Series, is engineered to deliver a superior driving experience for specific Volkswagen vehicles. The internal adjustment feature allows for fine-tuning to optimize performance across various terrains. The twin-tube, non-gas design ensures a comfortable yet safe ride, maintaining control and stability. This particular shock absorber (80-2149) is specifically designed for the rear of 1967-1977 Volkswagen Beetles, Karmann Ghias, and Things equipped with IRS. Fitment also extends to 1969-1977 VW Beetles, 1971-1979 VW Super Beetles, and 1969-1974 VW Type 3 models (including automatic and Auto Stick variants), as well as 1968 Auto Stick models and certain Type 3 models like the Squareback. It is noted that this shock may temporarily be out of stock and could take up to 6 weeks to ship.
