CV-2 Extreme Pressure Synthetic Grease

The Red Line CV-2 Grease is a high-performance lubricant engineered to provide superior protection in demanding applications. Its thermally-stable synthetic formulation significantly outperforms conventional and synthetic greases, delivering exceptional stability across a wide temperature range, from -100°F to 500°F. It offers excellent high-temperature stability, robust extreme-pressure protection, and superior water resistance, ensuring reliable performance even under harsh conditions. The product also exhibits strong resistance to oxidation and corrosion, with low evaporation and oil separation properties that minimize impact on rubber seals. Red Line CV-2 Grease contains an organic moly compound, which acts as a superior lubricant compared to black moly disulfide. It is also suitable for various industrial uses, including high-temperature alternator bearings, high-speed ball bearings, and conveyor systems. The grease maintains its consistency and extreme-pressure performance under high-temperature and high-shear conditions for extended periods. While it may darken after high-temperature use, this change does not affect its performance. It is recommended to thoroughly clean old grease before applying Red Line CV-2 to eliminate abrasive particles and prevent incompatibility.
