CVH3C-6A CNC-Ported LS3 Canted Valve Cylinder Head

The Brian Tooley Racing CVH3C-6A is a fully assembled, CNC-ported LS3 canted valve cylinder head, designed to deliver significant performance gains for LS engines. This head boasts a 260cc LS3-style intake port and a 64cc combustion chamber, optimized through extensive research and development. The canted valve design, with a 5° intake and 3° exhaust cant, allows for maximum valve unshrouding and sizing, contributing to impressive flow characteristics. Key specifications include 2.125” intake and 1.590” exhaust valves, assembled with BTR's .660" lift Platinum spring kit. The head is designed for compatibility with regular Gen 3 & 4 LS1 pedestal-type rockers, valve covers, and manifolding, while incorporating Gen V LT valves, spark plugs, and valve spring packages for ease of building with OEM-compatible parts. It is cast in Iowa and designed, tested, machined, and sold in Kentucky. Installation notes indicate that LS1 rocker bolts are used. The M10x1.5 accessory hole for the dipstick is shallower than OEM to prevent water jacket intrusion. Sealant will be required on intake rocker bolt threads that intersect the port. It's crucial to verify all engine clearances before final assembly. C5/C6 Corvette alternator brackets may require minor clearancing to bolt flush, and other aftermarket bracket or manifold clearancing might be necessary due to slight variations in casting dimensions. Coolant port holes on the ends of the cylinder heads are -12 ORB.
