The Kicker 44CVX122 CompVX Series 12" subwoofer is engineered to deliver robust bass performance, drawing on Kicker's extensive experience in car audio since 1986. Its construction features a flex-resistant, injection-molded polypropylene cone reinforced with Kicker's SoloKon™ technology for distortion-free lows. The ribbed Santoprene rubber surround supports long excursion, while the cast-aluminum basket provides a solid foundation and incorporates extensive venting to ensure reliable, long-lasting operation even under heavy bass loads. This subwoofer is capable of handling 750 watts RMS (375 watts per coil) and a peak power of 1500 watts. The inclusion of dual 2-ohm voice coils provides versatile wiring options, making it suitable for various multi-subwoofer setups. It offers a frequency response of 20-500 Hz and a sensitivity of 87.1 dB. The mounting depth is 6-11/16 inches, and it is compatible with both sealed (1.0 - 4.6 cu. ft.) and ported (1.75 - 2.25 cu. ft.) enclosures. Installation is made straightforward with its dual voice coil design, facilitating easy integration into existing or new audio systems.
