The MAHLE Clevite P-Series Standard Size Tri-Metal Rod Bearing Set (Clevite 226-2052) is an upgrade over stock, offering superior seizure resistance (up to 35% greater), load capacity (over 50% higher), embeddability & conformability, and durability (exceeds light and heavy vehicle OE requirements of 150,000 and 300,000 miles respectively). They also maintain tighter tolerances (within .0005” compared to bi-metal at .0003”).
