Description

The GDT Cylinder 4 Cooling Mod is the industry's first kit designed to specifically address combustion chamber cooling in the left-hand cylinder head of Subaru DOHC EJ engines. By increasing coolant flow to this critical area, the system helps to reduce detonation-causing hot spots, thereby improving overall engine reliability. Each kit comes complete with an assembled hose kit featuring a high-grade silicone hose paired with a custom-machined 6061 anodized fitting. Also included are a durable metal "T" fitting and necessary pinch clamps for installation. The package contains the assembled hose kit with fitting and clamp, a metal "T" fitting, three 316SS or 304SS embossed worm clamps, and detailed instructions. This cooling modification is designed for a direct fit on a range of Subaru models equipped with EJ20 or EJ25 engines. This includes the 2002-2014 WRX, 2004-2021 STI, 2004-2008 Forester XT, and 2005-2009 Legacy GT.
