Cylinder 4 Cooling Mod Kit

Cylinder 4 cooling is a known concern for Subaru's EJ Family engines, where restricted water passageways can lead to increased temperatures around this specific cylinder. The Roger Clark Motorsport RCM3307 Street Spec Cooling Kit offers a cost-effective and easy-to-install solution. The kit includes billet fittings secured to quality coolant hose with genuine Subaru water hose clamps. Installation involves fitting these to the unused port at the rear of the block near cylinder 4. The system is then connected via a supplied tee piece into the water matrix pipe located directly above. The billet barb fitting is engineered to provide an optimal flow rate, effectively cooling cylinder 4 without causing excessive cooling. Two supplied pipe lengths ensure correct positioning and bending. Note that on some vehicles, the exact position of the metal water pipe connection point may vary. Trimming the pipe may be necessary to prevent kinking and ensure a proper fit.
