The ARP 154-3601 is a high-performance cylinder head bolt kit specifically engineered for Ford Small Block (SBF) 289, 302, and 5.0L engines. This kit is compatible with stock heads, as well as Edelbrock Performer and RPM heads. The bolts are manufactured from durable Chromoly material and feature a black oxide finish for corrosion resistance. With a tensile strength rating of 170,000 psi, these ARP head bolts are 15% stronger than Grade 8 fasteners, ensuring robust clamping force and reliability for your engine build. The kit includes hardened, parallel-ground washers for proper load distribution. Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance and longevity. It is recommended to clean all threads in the block before installation and chase if necessary with an ARP Thread Chaser to ensure proper thread engagement and accurate torque readings.
