Description

The ARP 208-4302 Cylinder Head Stud Kit is engineered to combat head gasket failures caused by increased combustion pressures. This kit features studs with a 200,000 PSI tensile strength, ensuring sufficient clamping force to keep cylinder heads securely in place. Manufactured from 8740 chrome-moly steel in ARP's Santa Paula, CA plant, these studs have threads that are rolled after heat-treatment for optimal fatigue strength. They are centerless ground for perfect concentricity, and the ends are broached to simplify installation and allow for cylinder head removal even in confined spaces. Each kit includes heat-treated, chrome-moly steel 12-point nuts and parallel-ground washers, all finished with a durable black oxide coating. This kit is specifically designed for the Honda and Acura B18A1 engine. Proper installation requires cleaning and inspecting all hardware before beginning.
