The Ford D0VE-C heads are performance components for the 429/460 engine family. In their OEM configuration, they are considered inadequate for optimal performance. However, with appropriate modifications, such as porting and valve work, they can be a suitable fit for a 500+ cubic inch street engine, especially in heavier vehicles.
