Cylinder Works Cylinder Kits are a cost-effective alternative to time-consuming boring, honing, and re-plating processes required to remedy worn cylinders. Standard Bore Kits include all new - not remanufactured - OEM replica piston(s), cylinder(s), rings, gaskets, and hardware required for installation. Pistons are heat-treated, T-5 hardened and tempered replacement units supplied by Vertex. Pistons are an exact replica of the OEM piston that they replace - coming in either cast or forged designs, dependent on factory spec - with molybdenum disulphite skirts. Supplied cylinder sleeves are diamond honed to the exact bore dimension and proper surface finish to ensure proper ring seal and oil retention.
