It is specifically designed to fit trailer hitches that have a 2" x 2" receiver tube opening, making it compatible with many class 4 and class 5 trailer hitches, including CURT Xtra Duty class 5 hitches. Constructed from solid steel, this mount ensures optimal strength for demanding tasks. It is tested and rated for a substantial 13,000 lbs. straight-line pull capacity. The shackle itself features a threaded pin for easy installation and removal, and it provides a secure point for attaching tow straps, such as the CURT vehicle recovery strap #83066 or similar. To ensure longevity and resistance to the elements, the CURT D-ring shackle mount is protected by a highly durable carbide powder coat finish.
