D2 Rear Double Cardan Drive Shaft

The Tom Wood's D2 Rear Double Cardan Drive Shaft is a custom-built driveline component designed for Land Rover applications, offering an upgrade over conventional two-joint drive shafts. This double cardan drive shaft is specifically recommended for vehicles with lift heights around 3 inches. Tom Wood's uses "Gold Seal" 1310 series universal joints, which are the most common U-joints globally, utilized in numerous Ford, GM, Jeep, and Dodge vehicles. This ensures compatibility and ease of replacement should the need arise, as it is similar in size and strength to factory Land Rover universal joints. Customization is key for this drive shaft. Customers must provide their flange-to-flange measurements in the order notes at checkout for precise building. If measurements are not provided, the shaft will be manufactured to stock length. Please note that these shafts are custom-built to order and have a minimum 2-day handling time before shipment. An important compatibility note: if your truck retains the original rotoflex rubber coupler on the differential end, you will need to purchase the STC4858 flange kit to properly adapt this drive shaft to your vehicle.
