These bulbs utilize 100% Philips quartz glass and APL-USA capsules, filled with halide salts from German supplier Messer, to achieve near the luminosity of top-tier bulbs like the Osram CBI. With an estimated intensity of 3,400 lumens and a 5000K pure white color rating, they significantly enhance nighttime visibility. Engineered for durability, the XB HID bulbs feature Austrian-sourced Plansee electrodes for sustained brightness over their rated lifespan of 2,500 hours. While Philips bulbs maintain slightly higher intensity retention over a shorter period, the Morimoto bulbs offer exceptional longevity for aftermarket HID solutions. Their Symmetry-Structure frame ensures precise alignment of the glass capsule, crucial for consistent and uniform light output.
