Zumbrota Drivetrain Axle Assemblies are rebuilt to high quality standards. Each assembly is inspected for straightness, cracks, and wear. All internal components (ring & pinions, internal gears, clutches, carriers) are inspected and tested. All bearings & seals are replaced. Gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque using inch-pound measurements for precise setup and longevity. Correct gear backlash is set. Axle tubes are inspected to OEM standards of straightness. Zumbrota uses an exclusive hydro-blast rinse, sandblasting, and proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning process. Units are shipped in high-density plastic totes. Housings are tested for surface wear and cracks. 100% inspection of all internal parts. 100% replacement of bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts and shims. All housings are cleaned using state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process, restoring them to OEM finish. Correct rolling torque established for precision setup and longevity.
