Remanufactured Dana 44 AXLE Assembly for 1983-1991 Ford F-150 with a 3.50 gear ratio. Zumbrota Drivetrain axles are rebuilt to high standards, with thorough inspection for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components (ring & pinions, internal gears, clutches, carriers) are inspected and tested. All bearings & seals are replaced. Gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque. Gear backlash is set for proper lubrication and quiet operation. Axle tubes are inspected for OEM straightness. Zumbrota uses an exclusive hydro-blast rinse, sandblasting, and proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning. Units ship in high-density plastic totes. 100% inspection of all internal parts and replacement of bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims. Housings are cleaned to OEM finish. Correct rolling torque is established for precision and longevity.
