Description

The Zumbrota Drivetrain Axle Assembly RAA435-2128B is a remanufactured Dana 80 axle assembly for 2001-2003 Ford F-550 dual rear wheel (DRW) trucks with a 5.38 ratio. It is compatible with all engine/transmission offerings for the F-550 during these years, provided it is a Dana 80, 5.38 ratio, and DRW. The assembly is inspected for straightness, cracks, and wear; internal components are inspected and tested; bearings & seals are replaced. Gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact and correct rolling torque, and backlash is set for proper lubrication and quiet operation. Axle tubes are inspected for OEM straightness. Zumbrota uses a hydro-blast rinse, sandblasting, and proprietary deep cleaning.
