This remanufactured Dana 80 Axle Assembly from Zumbrota Drivetrain (SKU: RAA435-2067G) is designed for 2002-2003 Ford F450 trucks with a 4.88 ratio and dual rear wheels (DRW). The assembly undergoes a comprehensive remanufacturing process, including inspection for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components (ring & pinions, gears, clutches, carriers) are inspected and tested. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. Gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact and correct rolling torque. Axle tubes are verified against OEM straightness standards. Zumbrota utilizes a hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning. Note: This assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts.
