The Demco DA70 is a hydraulic surge brake actuator designed for disc brake applications. It features a zinc-plated finish for corrosion protection and has a rated capacity of 7,000 lbs. The mounting holes are on a 3-inch center, and it provides sufficient fluid displacement for up to four 10-inch disc style trailer brakes.

This model includes an electric reversing solenoid and is intended for light occasional use on recreational, marine, and utility trailers towed by passenger cars or pickups. The actual in-service rating is limited by the ball and hitch used or the trailer manufacturer's G.V.W.R., whichever is lower.
