The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2149A-P is a remanufactured Dana 35 rear axle assembly, specifically designed for 2003-06 Jeep Wrangler models. This assembly features a 3.07 gear ratio and a Posi Limited Slip Differential, ensuring enhanced traction and performance. Each axle assembly is rebuilt to rigorous quality standards. Zumbrota meticulously inspects all components for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. Internal parts, including the ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers, are thoroughly tested. To guarantee optimal performance and longevity, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and set to precise rolling torque using inch-pound measurements. Zumbrota employs an advanced cleaning process, utilizing hydro-blasting and sandblasting for internal and external parts, followed by a proprietary shot-peening procedure. This ensures the housings are restored to OEM finish and meet strict straightness specifications. The correct gear backlash is also set to ensure proper lubrication and quiet operation. Key specifications include a semi-floating axle type, a 7.562-inch ring gear diameter, and a 2.1-quart fluid capacity (fluid not included). This assembly is designed as a standard replacement grade type.
