The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1839B is a remanufactured complete axle assembly specifically designed for the Dana 35 differential, featuring a 3.73 gear ratio and a 7.562-inch ring gear size. This axle assembly comes equipped with Posi Traction for improved traction and performance. Zumbrota Drivetrain emphasizes a rigorous remanufacturing process, including thorough inspection of axle tubes for straightness, housing for cracks and surface wear, and 100% inspection of all internal components such as ring & pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The remanufacturing process includes proprietary cleaning methods like hydro-blasting and sandblasting to restore internal and external parts to an OEM finish. Precise setup is ensured through inch-pound measurements for correct rolling torque and proper gear backlash, contributing to longevity and quiet operation. This specific axle assembly is compatible with 1994-1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee models equipped with disc brakes. It is important to note that this assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts, which must be sourced separately.
