Description

The Zumbrota RAA435-1883X1-L is a rear axle assembly designed for the Dana 35 differential, specifically for the 1997-2002 Jeep Wrangler models equipped with 2.5L or 4.0L engines. This performance-grade assembly features a 4.56 gear ratio and is equipped with a Grizzly locker, providing stronger traction for off-road or demanding driving conditions. Zumbrota remanufactures these axle assemblies to stringent quality standards, ensuring precision and reliability. The process includes thorough inspection of all components for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. Internal parts, including ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers, are meticulously tested. All bearings and seals are replaced, and the ring and pinion gear setup is precisely calibrated for optimal tooth contact and longevity. The housing and tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications. The axle is semi-floating and comes with the cover included, but is not pre-filled with oil.
