The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1985A is a remanufactured axle assembly specifically for the Dana 44 differential, featuring a 3.73 gear ratio and compatibility with SelectTrac systems. This assembly undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process. All housing tubes are meticulously inspected and straightened to meet OEM specifications, ensuring structural integrity. Housings themselves are thoroughly tested for surface wear and cracks to prevent future issues. Internally, every component, including the ring and pinion gears, clutch packs, and carrier, is subjected to a 100% inspection. To guarantee longevity and performance, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced with new parts. The housings are then cleaned using a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process, restoring them to an OEM finish.
