Dana 44 30-Spline Limited Slip Differential

The Yukon Gear and Axle Dura Grip Limited Slip Differential (part number YDGD44-4-30-1) is engineered for Dana Spicer 44 axles featuring 30 spline axles and compatible with 3.92 gear ratios and numerically lower ratios. Constructed with durability in mind, this differential boasts a fully rebuildable design proudly assembled in the USA. It utilizes composite clutches for smooth yet aggressive traction and features 4320 chromoly spider gears, the strongest available for this application. All Yukon Dura Grip units undergo extensive product testing and are developed using state-of-the-art software design to ensure reliable performance. This unit is designed to work with both 7/16" and 1/2" ring gear bolts. However, if using 3/8" ring gear bolts, the YSPBLT-027 adapter is required. For optimal performance and longevity, Yukon recommends using a high-grade, non-synthetic GL-5 gear oil along with their specific LSD additive (Part number OILADD). The use of synthetic oil is not recommended, as it may lead to noisy or aggressive operation.
