The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA434-1546A is a remanufactured axle assembly designed for the Dana 44 differential with a 3.54 gear ratio and an 8.5-inch ring gear. The remanufacturing process involves a thorough inspection of all components. Tubes are straightened to OEM specifications, and housings are rigorously tested for surface wear and cracks. Internally, all parts, including ring and pinion gears, clutch components, and carriers, undergo a 100% inspection. Key components such as bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are all replaced with new parts. The housings are cleaned using a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process to restore them to an OEM finish.
