The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1694C is a remanufactured complete axle assembly, built to high standards for precision and reliability. It is specifically designed for Dana 60 rear ends with a 3.54 gear ratio, a 9.75-inch ring gear, and semi-float axles. This unit is intended for applications without "Posi Traction" and does not come with hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts, requiring these components to be sourced separately. Each axle assembly undergoes a thorough inspection process. This includes checking for straightness, cracks, and surface wear on the housing. All internal components, such as ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers, are fully inspected and tested. Zumbrota replaces all bearings and seals, and meticulously inspects gears for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque. Gear backlash is precisely set to ensure proper lubrication and quiet operation. The housing and axle tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, utilizing an exclusive hydro-blast rinse, sandblasting, and proprietary shot-peening process for a deep cleaning and remanufactured finish. This specific axle assembly is listed for 1992-1996 Ford E250 vehicles equipped with Single Rear Wheel (SRW) and Semi-Float (SF) axle configurations.
