The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1579A-P is a remanufactured complete axle assembly, meticulously rebuilt to the highest standards of precision and reliability. Each axle undergoes a rigorous inspection process, including checks for straightness, cracks, and surface wear on the housing. All internal components, such as ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are subjected to a 100% inspection and testing. This assembly is equipped with a Dana 60 rear axle featuring a 3.55 gear ratio and a Posi Traction (LSD) for enhanced grip. It has a 9.75-inch ring gear diameter and a 10-bolt cover, designed for a 6200 lb axle capacity. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced during the remanufacturing process. The gears are precisely set for optimal tooth contact patterns, correct rolling torque using inch-pound measurements, and proper backlash to ensure lubrication and quiet operation. Zumbrota Drivetrain utilizes a proprietary hydro-blast and sandblasting procedure, followed by deep cleaning, to prepare all components.
