The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-173B is a remanufactured complete axle assembly designed for the Dana 60 rear axle. This unit is specifically built for 2008-2010 Ford E150 models, featuring a 3.73 gear ratio and a Posi Limited Slip Differential. Each Zumbrota Drivetrain axle assembly undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process. This includes thorough inspection of all internal components such as ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers. All bearings and seals are replaced, and gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque. The remanufacturing process ensures precision setup and longevity by setting correct gear backlash for proper lubrication and quiet operation. Axle tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and housings are tested for surface wear and cracks. Zumbrota utilizes a hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-peening deep cleaning process to prepare the components.
