Dana 60 4.10 Ratio 9.75-Inch Ring Gear Axle Assembly

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2053E is a remanufactured axle assembly built to high standards of precision and reliability, designed for the Dana 60. This specific unit is for 1997-1998 Ford E350 models with single rear wheels (SRW) and full float axles. It features a 4.10 gear ratio with a 9.75-inch ring gear and is configured without Posi Traction. During the remanufacturing process, Zumbrota Drivetrain thoroughly inspects all internal components, including ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced with new parts. The assembly process includes ensuring correct gear backlash for proper lubrication and quiet operation, and establishing correct rolling torque using inch-pound measurements for optimal setup and longevity. Axle tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications. Zumbrota utilizes an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning, to prepare internal and external parts, restoring cases to OEM finish.
