The Reid Racing Dana 60 Ford Steering Knuckle is a high-strength, fully machined replacement designed to enhance durability in high-steer and crossover steering setups. Cast from ductile iron with extra material and reinforced ribbing, this knuckle provides improved structural integrity over factory components. It features a flat-top design with a fifth bolt hole to increase clamping force for high-steer arms, though it remains compatible with standard four-bolt arms. These knuckles are sold individually, and both driver and passenger sides are required for a complete setup. While the design is interchangeable with Ford kingpin knuckles, it utilizes stronger Chevy-style tie rod ends. The unit features cast-in steering stops to eliminate the risk of bent stop bolts that can lead to axle and u-joint failure. Additionally, the tie rod holes can be drilled to accept 3/4-inch rod ends to suit custom steering builds. Compatibility note: These Ford-specific versions are built using the stronger Chevy casting. Consequently, some additional steering modifications may be required for proper installation on Ford applications. These parts are intended for off-road use only.
