The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2005A-P is a remanufactured complete axle assembly specifically designed for 2000-2001 Dodge Ram 2500 models equipped with a Dana 60 rear axle. This assembly includes a 3.55 gear ratio and a Posi Limited Slip Differential (LSD), offering enhanced traction and performance for 2WD applications with rear drum brakes. Each Zumbrota Drivetrain axle assembly is rebuilt to stringent quality standards. The process involves thorough inspection of all components for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. Internal parts such as ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers undergo 100% inspection. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced with new parts to ensure reliability and longevity. The gear setup includes precise backlash adjustment and correct rolling torque establishment using inch-pound measurements for optimal lubrication and quiet operation. Zumbrota Drivetrain employs an exclusive cleaning process, including hydro-blasting and sandblasting, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning procedure. This comprehensive remanufacturing ensures that the axle housings meet OEM standards for straightness and are free from surface wear and cracks, restoring them to an OEM finish. The product comes with a 2-year limited warranty.
