The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1904C-P is a remanufactured complete axle assembly designed for Dana 70 applications, specifically for 1989-1993 Dodge D250, W250, D350 SRW, and W350 SRW models. This assembly features a 4.10 gear ratio and Posi Traction (LSD) for improved performance and traction. Each Zumbrota Drivetrain axle assembly is rebuilt to stringent quality standards. The remanufacturing process involves thorough inspection of all components for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. Internal parts like ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers are rigorously tested. Crucially, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced with new parts. The gears are meticulously inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and set to correct rolling torque using inch-pound measurements, ensuring precise setup and extended longevity. Proper gear backlash is also set for effective lubrication and quiet operation. Zumbrota employs an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure on both internal and external parts, followed by a proprietary shot-peening deep cleaning process.
