The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2010B is a remanufactured rear axle assembly specifically engineered for 2000-2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Base models equipped with 4WD and rear drum brakes. This assembly features a robust Dana 70 axle with a 4.10 gear ratio and a Posi Limited Slip Differential. Zumbrota Drivetrain prioritizes quality and reliability in its remanufacturing process. Each axle assembly is thoroughly inspected for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are inspected and tested. To ensure optimal setup and longevity, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced, and gears are set for correct backlash and optimal tooth contact patterns, with rolling torque established using inch-pound measurements. Zumbrota employs an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure on internal and external parts, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning. This process restores housings to an OEM finish while ensuring they meet OEM specifications for straightness and are free from surface wear and cracks. This axle assembly is designed for 4WD models and includes the cover. However, it does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts. Fitment is specific to the 2000-2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Base, with specific notes for units produced through July 4, 2000, which may have different drum brake configurations.
