The Yukon steel spool is a cost-effective solution for converting a differential to 100% lockup. It installs directly in place of the differential carrier assembly. This spool is specifically designed to fit Chrysler Dana Spicer 80 axles featuring 35 spline axles. It is compatible only with differential gear ratios of 4.10 and numerically higher. The primary function is to provide 100% traction to both wheels at all times, ensuring maximum grip. Due to its locking nature, this spool is not recommended for street-driven vehicles, as it can negatively impact handling and tire wear on paved surfaces.
