The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2048B is a remanufactured axle assembly built for the robust Dana 80 differential. This unit is precisely engineered with a 4.10 gear ratio, making it suitable for applications requiring enhanced torque for heavy loads. Designed specifically for Dual Rear Wheels (DRW), this assembly ensures optimal power distribution for larger trucks. Each Zumbrota axle assembly undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process. The housings are meticulously inspected for straightness, cracks, and surface wear, and are straightened to OEM specifications. Internal components, including ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are 100% inspected and tested. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced with new parts. Zumbrota utilizes an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-peened deep cleaning process, to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and reliability. The assembly is set up with careful attention to optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque, measured in inch-pounds for precise setup and longevity. Gear backlash is set to ensure proper lubrication and quiet operation. This remanufactured assembly is intended for 2000-2004 Ford F-350 Super Duty models equipped with the Dana 80 axle.
