The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2117B-P is a remanufactured axle assembly for the Dana 80. This assembly features a 5.13 gear ratio and a Posi Limited Slip Differential (LSD).

During remanufacturing, all tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and housings are tested for surface wear and cracks. Internal components, including ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers, undergo 100% inspection. Bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are all replaced. The housings are cleaned via hydro blasting for an OEM finish, and correct rolling torque is established for precision and longevity.

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2117B-P is a remanufactured axle assembly, built around the robust Dana/Spicer Model 80 platform. It is designed for specific applications, featuring a 5.13 gear ratio and a Posi Limited Slip Differential (LSD). This axle assembly undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process to ensure reliability and performance. All tubes are inspected and straightened to meet original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications, and housings are thoroughly tested for any surface wear or cracks. Internally, every component, including the ring and pinion gears, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, is subjected to a 100% inspection. To guarantee longevity and optimal performance, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The remanufacturing process also includes a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process for the housings, restoring them to an OEM finish. Precision is maintained through the establishment of correct rolling torque, measured in inch-pounds, ensuring a precise setup and extended lifespan for the assembly. This specific assembly is designated for 1996-2002 GM 3500 2WD DRW Wrecker models and is equipped with a Posi LSD. It is built to order, with shipping times varying.
