The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1991-P is a remanufactured complete axle assembly for the Dana 80 differential. This unit is built to high standards of precision and reliability, with thorough inspection of all components. Key specifications include a 5.38 gear ratio, a 11.25-inch ring gear diameter, and it is designed for Dual Rear Wheels (DRW) applications. This assembly features Posi Traction for improved grip and performance. All internal components, such as ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, undergo a 100% inspection. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced with new parts. Zumbrota Drivetrain employs an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure for internal and external parts, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning process. Axle tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and housings are tested for surface wear and cracks. Gears are meticulously inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and set to correct rolling torque using inch-pound measurements for precise setup and longevity. The gear backlash is also set correctly to ensure proper lubrication and quiet operation. This axle assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts. It is specifically designed for 1999-2001 Ford F550 models. Compatibility should be confirmed by checking the tag numbers, which include F81D-AG and AH for this unit.
