Description

This remanufactured front axle assembly (RAA440-1348D) for Ford M35 IFS vehicles, including 1998-2005 Ford Ranger and Explorer models, features a 4.10 ratio. It undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process, including inspection for straightness, cracks, and surface wear, and all internal components such as ring & pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers are inspected and tested. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The axle tubes meet OEM standards, and the unit is hydro-blasted and sandblasted for a deep clean and an OEM finish. Correct rolling torque is established using inch-pound measurements.
