Zumbrota Drivetrain Axle Assemblies are rebuilt to the highest quality standards. Each assembly is inspected for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components are inspected and tested, and all bearings & seals are replaced. Gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque, with backlash set for proper lubrication and quiet operation. Axle tubes are inspected to OEM standards of straightness. Zumbrota uses an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning. Units are shipped in high-density plastic totes. All housings are tested for surface wear and cracks. 100% inspection of all internal parts and replacement of bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims. Housings are cleaned utilizing hydro blasting and rinsing to return to OEM finish. Correct rolling torque is established using inch-pound measurements.
