The Race Technology DL1 SPORT is an entry-level performance data logger designed for motorsport enthusiasts and professionals seeking to improve their driving. This powerful yet flexible system is celebrated for its ease of setup and use, making it an ideal choice for beginners and experienced users alike who want to analyze and enhance their track day or racing performance. At its core, the DL1 SPORT features a high-accuracy 5Hz GPS receiver for precise speed, position, and lap/sector time calculations, eliminating the need for trackside beacons. Data is logged directly to a CF memory card with support for up to 32GB. Essential vehicle dynamics are captured by the integrated 3-axis accelerometer, which allows for detailed analysis of braking and cornering G-forces. The system is expandable, offering 8 analog sensor inputs for additional sensors and the capability to interface with your vehicle's ECU to log engine health and performance data. One of the standout features of the DL1 SPORT is its seamless integration with Race Technology's Analysis software. This sophisticated, yet intuitive software allows users to review lap and sector times, analyze track maps colored by time slip rate to pinpoint areas for improvement, and compare braking, cornering, and power application across different laps. Additionally, the DL1 SPORT supports an optional GoPro QuickSync video license, enabling synchronized HD video and data logging within the Analysis software for a comprehensive review of your performance. While the DL1 SPORT can function as a standalone unit, it is designed to integrate with other Race Technology products. It can connect to the DASH2 or DASH4PRO displays for real-time data visualization and lap timing, or be combined with RT LIVE for telemetry and remote logging capabilities. The system can also be expanded with an ANALOG8 module for even more analog sensor inputs.
