Cast from XG-150 high carbon alloyed iron and undergoing Thermal Stability Profiling. DBA's metallurgy is able to handle the increased stress and heat generated under intense braking application time and time again. Featuring DBA;s patented Kangaroo Paw ventilation that implements a series of 144 diamond and teardrop patterned pillars. DBA achieves up to a 30% increase in surface are and 20% improvement in cooling efficiency compared to traditional straight vane design.

4000 SERIES XS Gold provides all the benefits of 4000 Series, with a premium non directional cross drilled and slotted design allowing more brake pad friction dust and gases to escape, plus an attractive gold finish on the rotor hub.

The DBA 4000XS Drilled/Slotted Gold Rotor features the Kangaroo Paw 144 diamond and tear drop pillar ventilation system, XS precision CNC machined slots and cross drilling, XG150 High Carbon Alloyed Iron, Thermographic Temperature Monitoring, and paint protection on non-friction areas. It is listed as fitting the Mitsubishi Pajero NM-NP from 2000-2006 (rear) and is sold individually.
