DBA’s 4000 Series XD brake rotor variants feature a non-directional cross-drilled and dimpled rotor design and provide all the benefits of 4000 HD Series, but surpasses the HD spec in cooling benefits while at the same time enhances the rotor's sports aesthetics.

The combination of dimples and drilled holes offers superior rotor structural support compared to traditional cross-drilled techniques.

The majority of DBA’s 4000 Series Brake Rotors boast the groundbreaking Kangaroo Paw ventilation system. This system integrates a pattern of 144 diamond and teardrop-shaped pillars, yielding an impressive 30% increase in surface area and a significant 20% improvement in cooling efficiency when compared to conventional straight vane designs.

Additionally, all 4000 Series Brake Rotors are furnished with Thermographic heat paint markings. These markings transition in color at specific temperature thresholds, providing a valuable visual cue for monitoring braking temperatures and evaluating rotor fatigue.

While the XD variants are an overall improvement over the 4000 Series HD rotors, it's important to specify that drilled rotor configurations are not advisable for intensive off-road or track day usage.
