DBA's 4000 Series T3 rotors represent the pinnacle of their technology and material science, engineered for drivers seeking superior braking performance beyond standard OE specifications. These direct-replacement rotors are cast from high-carbon alloy iron that has undergone Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP). This process ensures the metallurgy can withstand the extreme stresses and heat generated during demanding braking applications. The rotors feature DBA's patented Kangaroo Paw ventilation system, which utilizes 144 diamond and teardrop-shaped pillars. These slots also serve as exit locations for brake pad friction gasses, improving brake stop uniformity and efficacy. A universal slot design eliminates the need to differentiate between left and right discs. Key specifications for this vented rotor include an outside diameter of 316mm, an overall height of 56.7mm, a nominal thickness of 30mm (with a discard thickness of 30mm), and a center hole diameter of 58mm. The rotor material is high-carbon alloy iron, and it features a coated finish with non-friction areas protected against rust formation. These rotors are rated 5/5 for stopping power and 1/5 for noise level, with a performance over stock rating of 4 - Track Day/Towing.
