The DBA 4000 Series T3 brake rotor is engineered as a direct replacement, incorporating advanced technology for enhanced performance. Constructed from high-carbon, heat-treated iron (XG150 Alloy), it is designed to resist warping and cracking, prolonging its service life. The rotor features DBA’s patented Kangaroo Paw ventilation system with 144 diamond and tear-drop pillars to reduce brake fade and improve stopping power, especially under demanding conditions. The T3 bi-directional slot design, an evolution of the T2 slot, includes precise, CNC-machined tri-symmetrical slots. These slots decrease vibration and noise, contributing to a quieter and smoother brake pedal. They also increase the number of out-gassing exit points for brake pad friction gasses, further enhancing the consistency and effectiveness of each brake stop. This design is recommended for high-performance applications and heavy off-roading. This rotor is compatible with a range of Honda Fit and Honda Insight models from 2010-2014, as well as several Acura Integra and Honda Civic models, specifically for the front axle.
